Graeme Colman

Graeme Colman, Communications Manager

Graeme has worked in media and communications since 1967, has been an award winning journalist, top-rating radio talk back host, newspaper Editor and manager and in 1990 worked in the New Zealand Prime Minister's Office.

He is a former Managing Editor of The National Business Review. As Executive Assistant to former Minister of Foreign affairs and Trade and Prime Minister Mike Moore, he was responsible for leading policy projects including the introduction of Lotto and fast track America’s Cup planning law. As Group Business Development Manager for the Liberty Press Group he was involved in international award-winning marketing projects and new business developments. He introduced New Zealand’s first information-to-mobile phone service.

He was a member of New Zealand's 1988 America's Cup Challenge team.

Graeme joined the Business Council in March 2006.
