This year’s conference organisers are pleased to announce the following keynote speakers for the 2010 Australasian Housing Researchers’ Conference will be held at The University of Auckland, New Zealand.
 | Duncan Maclennan (CBE FRSE): Professor and Director of the Centre for Housing Research at the Centre for Housing Research at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, an international expert on the development of cities, the renewal of neighbourhoods and the economics of housing. | |
 | David Thorns: Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Canterbury, whose research interests include home and identity, housing policy, urban sustainability and globalisation. | | Further keynote speaker will be announced shortly.
We are also pleased to announce the initial call for abstracts. We encourage papers from a wide range of perspectives relating to research and contemporary housing issues including both global and local issues.
